Covid-19 Class Policies

Covid-19 Summer Camp Policies

Our COVID-19 Camp Policies

The health and safety of our campers and staff remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible. We are:

  • Requiring all participants to sign a waiver stating they have not tested positive for COVID-19, neither the participant nor anyone in their household has been tested for COVID-19, and neither the participant nor anyone in their household thinks they may have COVID-19.

  • Requiring outside drop-off and pick-up and not allowing family members into the building.  A staff member will come to your car at drop-off and will bring your camper back to your car at pick-up.

  • Requiring each camper to have a temperature screening at drop-off.

  • Intensifying cleaning and disinfection practices within our facilities and premises.  We will be cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects such as door handles and ballet barres.  Daily, we will be cleaning and sanitizing any shared toys and objects.

  • Spacing the campers out.  We have placed tape on the floors to provide each camper a six foot box to remain in while playing and dancing.  We have placed tape “x”s six feet apart on the floor to provide each camper a place to leave their things and sit when required to wait for activities, pick-up, etc.   We have spaced out the chairs at the kitchen tables to allow for the campers to distance during lunch, snack, and craft time.

  • Limiting the number of items that are shared or touched between campers and staff. We will be providing individual supplies for each camper and individually packaged snacks.  Additionally, games will not use shared balls or equipment.

  • Promoting healthy hygiene practices.  We will be taking frequent hand washing breaks and have hand sanitizer available in each room.  We will discuss and encourage good habits such as covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or their elbow

  • Changing our end of week performances into videos.  Instead of inviting families in on Friday afternoon for a performance, we will be creating a video!  Video links will be sent to families and we will have virtual viewing parties!

  • If a child does get sick at camp, we have identified an area where they can rest, be watched after, and safely isolate from others. We will communicate with parents or caretakers directly and, if necessary, arrange for the child to be taken to a healthcare facility for care.

Because there is still so much uncertainty around the Covid-19 situation, we will be adjusting our Camp financial policies as follows:

  • A $50.00 deposit per student per camp is due at the time of registration. This deposit is student and camp specific and cannot be refunded or transferred to another student or another camp, but will be put toward full camp tuition.

  • Fees will be invoiced to your account and charged to your credit card on file after your registration has been reviewed.

  • The remaining full camp tuition will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on May 1st. If registering after May 1st, both the deposit and the remaining full camp tuition will be due at the time of registration and will be charged to your credit card on file after your registration has been reviewed.

  • Camp tuition less the $50.00 deposit can be transferred to another camp or to future TTP programs up until 1 week before the first day of camp. At this point, no further changes to enrollment or tuition paid can be made, with the exception of the family's inability to honestly sign our daily Covid waiver. In this case, please contact the studio to discuss tuition adjustments.
